The Dental assisting instructor promote a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect. The instructor is responsible for teaching in various settings, including the classroom, online, and in the lab. They assess student performance and engage in curriculum development as well as program revisions.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Delivers education to ensure that competencies required for successful completion of the program taught as delineated through mastery of coursework and skill practicums.Implement a variety of teaching strategies appropriate to learner needs and support the desired learning outcomesEmploys effective teaching strategies based on evidence-based teaching practices to supporting students achievements Uses technologies skillfully to support the teaching-learning process.Uses oral, written, and electronic communication that reflects an awareness of self and others, along with an ability to convey ideas in a variety of contexts.Provides opportunities for learners to develop critical thinking skills and ethical reasoning.Fosters the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective development of students.Employs a variety of strategies to assess and evaluate learning in three Bloom taxonomies domains: cognitive, psychomotor and affective.Implements formative and summative assessment and evaluation strategies.Enhances the teaching-learning process based upon data.Provides timely, constructive, and thoughtful feedback to learners
